Conducts HR programs such as orientation, recruiting events, employee relations meetings, talent management
Coordinates on-boarding, hiring and payroll processes
Manages day-to-day relationship with external suppliers/vendors
Supports performance management processes
Monitors and ensures compliance with local labor laws: monitors local regulations, reviews work contracts, implements status changes
Ensures accurate and compliant pay (including payroll) and benefits administration
Conducts annual competitive benchmarking analysis and other HR reports for the site
Develops supervisors to improve their management capabilities
Develops and administer local rewards programs based on corporate compensation philosophy, business objectives, and International programs
Manages the recruitment processes in partnership with TA
Facilitates training and development; may teach in-house courses
Implements and ensures a clear, shared understanding of HR procedures/policies
Builds and maintains knowledge of Amgen’s products, therapeutic areas, markets,
and business-financial model
Understands key business processes to ensure HR initiatives add value to Amgen’s local and regional business goals
