Our client, a leading multinational retail company is urgently seeking a Visual Merchandiser. You will be directly reporting to the VMM (in the UAE). Operations (in Egypt)
This position will be based in Egypt
PURPOSE
The purpose of this role is to support the VMM and the local operations team in maximizing sales by improving the visual environment of the store and maintaining brand identity with global standards.
Key Accountabilities
Operations
Execute the following VM activities under the guidance of the VMM in order to maximize sales and ensure brand and company guidelines are maintained:
• Window installations
• In-store product displays
• Sourcing local upgrades for maximizing the brand’s image
• Continually expand knowledge on current stock holding within stores as well as provide feedback to management on stock and style movement in order to commercially drive VM.
Commerciality
• Recommend, implement and follow up on in-store merchandising on the basis of weekly sales and sell thru report analysis, in order to maximize check out.
• Conduct regular commercial meetings with operation to plan VM activities and align VM strategy to maximize sales.
Reporting
• Conduct regular store visits and generate VM reports in order to share useful information with senior management.
Store Maintenance
• Report on and suggest VM related store maintenance and lighting improvements in order to enhance the overall store experience and drive sales.
Education
• Educate the sales staff and develop their capability in merchandising products and promotional decoration kits effectively and in-keeping with the guidelines.
Troubleshooting
• Support the VMM and Operations in suggesting viable alternatives, in case of governmental and social restrictions, in order to ensure that the brand’s guidelines are not compromised.
OPERATING ENVIRONMENT

• Working odd hours, i.e. late nights, early mornings (based on the needs of the business).
