About Your Job:

You will work closely with the Regional HR Manager and Country Manager to deliver the complete range of HR services to all stations in Egypt.  Key focuses will include recruitment, employment law and HR policy compliance and implementation, performance management, learning and development, HR Projects and reporting.  You will also ensure all employee-related matters are managed in line with the company procedures including discipline management and investigations, organisational design and compensation and benefits.  You are also responsible for providing HR support to other Africa stations on an ad-hoc basis, as requested by the Regional HR Business Manager for Africa.

Specific accountabilities include:
* Providing a range of HR services to all departments: Commercial, Ground Services, Cargo and Finance and coordinate all employee issues across Egypt
* Coaching, guiding and supporting line Managers on all HR-related matters
* Working closely with all departments, increasingly in a consultancy role, assisting line managers to understand and implement policies and procedures
* Consult and advise management on employee legislation and listen to grievances and implement disciplinary procedures
* Managing the entire employment cycle (sourcing, recruitment, selection, on-boarding, performance management, progression, separation) in compliance with local laws and QR policies
* Assist in developing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunity, disciplinary procedures and absence management 


About You:

To be effective in this role, you will need a Bachelors degree in a related field combined with a minimum of four years of related experience preferably within the airline/aviation industry.  You will need excellent knowledge of local labour laws and industry practices and knowledge of a HR system such as Oracle and/or SAP.  You will be an effective communicator with excellent interpersonal, coaching and consulting skills.  You will be adept at building relationships at all levels within the organisation both locally and internationally.

You will need to be fluent (written and spoken) in English to perform this role.
