What is the job about?
As an Internal Sales Engineer, you will provide active technical support to the sales team as well as other customer related activities. You will provide proactive, prompt and efficient service to our customers whilst striving to establish excellent technical sales and operational performance. In doing so you will, of course, be provided with the necessary tools and training to carry out your job.
Some of the job’s accountabilities are:
1. Provide technical support to assigned Sales Manager/s and Engineers, interact and interface with the Sales team and external customers
2. Identify the customer’s needs, recommend the corresponding material and ensure compliance to technical and commercial specifications in compliance with company guidelines.
3. Prepare, reconcile and validate all offers related to projects, tenders, and orders with special pricing and ensure entries recorded are accurate
4. Prepare and evaluate orders, and provide adequate and prompt assistance to customers enquiries;
5. Carry out activities pertaining to order processing and documentation.
6. Ensure that all relevant sales information and details on orders, conditions, etc., are proactively documented and provided to the necessary parties;
7. Develop and maintain an effective working relationship with vendors and external customers to ensure the timely and appropriate delivery of support.
