Our client, a manufacturers of packaging machinery is currently recruiting for a Sales Managerto be based in Egypt. You will be reporting directly to the Sales Manager in Dubai
This position is responsible for identifying new target markets, building and maintaining relationships with prospective and current clients with the objective of achieving sales revenue and growth according to team and individual targets/budget
Roles & Responsibilities
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with new & current clients, in existing industries or new target markets that can be served by Company’s equipment line.
• Build and maintain effective customer relationships, negotiating all terms of the sale
• Assist in the development of team and individual KPIs that ensure timely and cost-effective achievement of company’s overall sales targets
• Meet and exceed team & individual sales targets, in relation to revenue margin retention and growth
• Ensure sound knowledge of company’s products and services is developed and maintained
• Maintain knowledge and awareness of competitors and competitor pricing
• Develop and present effective written quotations to customers. Providing a current library of the same on our server for group reference
• Work with the Project Management Team to ascertain best price and correct specifications for customers
• Engage and monitor Agents within a region, if required
• Liaise with Technical Support to achieve and maintain client satisfaction
• Develop and implement account business plans that outline KPIs and report progress throughout the year to the company’s Management Team
• Work closely with M.E. Sales Manager to ensure account business plans are realistic and achievable
• Evaluate, develop and execute targeted initiatives to help grow account sales and overall support for company’s equipment including annual business plans with objectives
• Develop and implement strategies for optimum use of Regional Sales Staff
• Attend and contribute at trade shows / exhibitions held throughout the year (including some weekends), coordinate the development of sales promotion and lead generation activities, plus other relevant marketing initiatives
• Prepared to travel at short notice, locally and overseas, including some week-ends

• Compliance to all company rules, policies, procedures, guidelines and relevant regulatory requirements
• Actively demonstrate and promote understanding of company’s values and culture
• Customer ‘service’ satisfaction measured by:
- timely response to requests / assistance

• Ability to meet budget and KPIs. High percentage of quote to closure ratio - meet budget. High volume of enquiries / quotes - particularly new business
• Proven ability to work within a team environment to achieve overall company success
• Ability to make the tough calls with customers - good negotiator.
• Accuracy with information - asks the right questions - gives the correct advise to the customer - adds value to their business - low percentage of rework on projects
• Ability to manage suppliers - extract maximum support from suppliers
