We are looking to recruit a Procurement Executive to work within the Cairo Festival City Team. This role will be responsible for Assisting in the selection and appointment of Suppliers/Vendors for Capex and Opex side of the business, processing payments and administration of Purchase Orders on the Financial ERP SAP system. The candidate must have experience in SAP application and comfortable with working financial figures/sheets/systems. Your job responsibilities will be including but not limited to the following:
* Responsibility for all SAP commercial entry, updates, reporting and liaising with business units and financial team.
* Creating a data base/library of suppliers and prices.
* Carrying out research on companies and updating database of potential vendors. Maintaining a library.
* Issuing and receiving prequalification's and expression of interest on suppliers and vendors.
* Issuing and receiving simple Request for Quotation (RFQ).
* Issuing simple RFPs the market place, following up queries, receiving tenders and conducting tender openings.
* Assist in preparing payments requisitions and maintaining tracking log. This will include chasing other departments.
* Visiting vendors for quotations and making minor purchaser directly.
* Tracking Invoice processing (from document control to business unit to commercial to finance for payment) and ensuring that it is paid on time.
* Expediting delivery of goods and chasing suppliers.
About you
As a Procurement Executive, you need to demonstrate the following Experiences, Qualifications and Skills:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
Degree in Engineering or Business or Finance. Knowledge of procurement and SAP operating system is essential gained through formal training or work experience.
Minimum Experience:
3-5 years of experience in similar position in real estate development or construction sectors.
