The National Bank of Abu Dhabi is looking for a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis to manage the MI & Planning function and to liaise with group finance team on reporting and group initiatives related to the business.
Manage production of standard reports on weekly/monthly basis for the business in Egypt and geographies. Act as single source for all internal reporting.
Manage centralisation of process around reporting and report generation for Egypt to enable standard view across group and single source of truth.
Manage monthly forecasting process and enable forward-looking view for the management to drive business based on run rates and drive timely corrective actions.
Partner with the business in planning and coordinating the budgeting process.
Handle annual planning cycle covering top-down guidance and bottom-up plan consolidation/analysis and onward presentation to EXCO/Board subcommittee and Board for approvals.
Develop granular MI for the business divisions covering various reporting including Two lens, customer profitability, product profitability, cross-sell reports, catch vs throw revenues and other KPIs.
Provide detailed variance analysis for the business units and identifying issues for corrective actions.
Handle management reporting issues across and provide solution to cater for business changing needs.
Handle development projects to enrich MI data at source systems and aligning/standardising process across groups to have consistent reporting.
Streamline reporting and drive efficiencies with the Finance team.
Manage functional reporting of overseas Finance teams and ensure group management accounting manual are adhered to and reports generated are following group standard and norms.
Ensuring internal audit observations (if any) are addressed in timely manner.
Assist Finance team in delivering finance centric issues and MI development plan.
Keep abreast of technical developments relevant to the Finance function and more specifically to management reporting & business planning function in order to propose changes in the Bank.
