• The main purpose of the Section Head job is to ensure the proper delivery of miscellaneous admin services to the GB Auto organization, including janitorial, catering, security, phone operators, reception desks, mail administration, etc.
Major Duties:
• Manages the providers of general services to ensure efficiency and quality of service to his site
• Receives invoices from external service providers
• To ensure that all statutory and Company regulations and policies relating to hygiene, safety and fire are enforced and maintained to his site
• To ensure that the on-site security systems in respect of all functions managed are effective and maintained
• To liaise with Establishment Staff (both academic and non-academic) to ensure efficient and effective lines of communication are maintained to his site
• Management of employees' staff associated with the running of the cleaning and catering department
• Ensure all special functions are completed to the required standard of food and service and are also undertaken within pre-budgeted costs
• To undertake the completion of an appropriate quality audit system on a trimly basis, and to compile an action plan with regard to audit, to ensure its implementation.
• The general service site manager has the responsibility to oversee and supervise the staff in coordination and planning of support services to other departments.
• Receives, classifies, reconciles, interprets, consolidates, and/or summarizes documents and information.
• Maintains records and balance information for control purposes.
