1- Assisting in the supervision of and maintaining an efficient and effective team/department via understanding customer needs and requirements and endeavoring to exceed these wherever possible
2- Assisting in the development and motivation of the team and promoting efficiency, budget awareness and company standards
3- Demonstrating a positive supervisory style with an enthusiastic, positive, committed and flexible attitude and promoting the importance and benefits of effective team working
4- Assisting with supervision of employees, championing ‘best practice’ and providing assistance/advice where required
5- Assisting with management of stock, wastage and sales figures; assisting with forecasts and work to targets. Assisting team in recognizing importance of KPI’s in relation to business success. Assisting with production of reports for Senior Management
6- Generating new and innovative ideas to enhance and improve department; Maintaining equipment/product area effectively, efficiently and securely in line with ‘best practice’ and company policy
7- Maintaining good housekeeping standards
8- Carrying out any other duties as requested by the Department Head
9- Maximizes sales opportunities through commerciality and outstanding customer service.
10- Executing merchandising campaigns, promotions, and activities as assigned by store management
11- Ensuring that all employees' issues are brought to the attention of the Management Team
12- Attending to loss prevention and safety issues that may occur
