Job Summary:
Provide process engineering and technical support to plant assets by effectively monitoring analyzing, troubleshooting the processing units as well as assisting in the development of the capital project plan for assets in different technical functional areas.
Job Accountabilities:
1.Provide support throughout the various proposal, engineering and construction phases to the project teams with regard to all aspects of Process Engineering.
2.Perform process simulations and develop Process Flow Diagrams (PFD’s).
3.Develop sizing information for Process Equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers, distillation columns, separators, reactors, etc.) and provide information in the form of equipment data sheets.
4.Review and collect all data needed to perform the steady state and dynamics simulation models (PFDs, PIDs, Data Sheets…etc.).
5.Prepare material selection designation (diagram) for plant requirements
6.Periodically participate in HAZOP studies.
7.Assist in Plant start-up and performance testing, as required.
