Job Summary:
The job incumbent shall process purchasing transactions for equipment, materials, supplies, capital goods, and services.
Job Accountabilities:
1.Work in partnership with internal and external stakeholders for identifying specifications, quality, and delivery time of requirements and uses his negotiation skills to obtain best price in the market with no compromise on quality.
2.Invite, assess, and award/recommend suppliers or tenders, bid, quotations, and proposals.
3.Prepare and maintain purchasing records, reports, and price lists.
4.Establish and negotiate contracts terms & conditions while maintaining excellent work relationship with vendors/suppliers.
5.      
Assist in the development
of specifications for equipment, materials, and services to be purchased.
6.Administer services/product supply contracts’ performance including delivery, receipt, warranty, damages, and insurance of material/services.
7.Reconcile and resolve material/service value discrepancies.
8.Comply with and maintain knowledge of applicable rules, legislations, regulations, standards, and best
practices.  
9.Develop and maintain excellent work relationship with colleagues, management, and suppliers.
